2019 Cybersecurity Workforce Study(October 25, 2019) This draft of the report, conducted as a partnership between the National Cybersecurity Training and Education Center (NCyTE) and the Center for Systems Security and Information Assurance (CSSIA) and funded by the NSF, examines the type of cybersecurity jobs filled by community college graduates and how they align to the NICE frameworks job roles. This study, like many others, addresses the worldwide growing threat of cybercrime and the nation's shortage of cybersecurity professionals. What distinguishes this study from others is specifically focusing on the progress community college cybersecurity programs are making to overcome the worldwide shortage.
